In an inspiring display of generosity, Chicks n’ Chaps of Coeur d’Alene has donated an incredible $35,000 to the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Foundation’s Cancer Patient Support Fund. This donation will provide critical assistance to local cancer patients undergoing treatment at Â鶹¹ÙÍø, covering everyday living expenses such as gas cards, grocery support, nutritional supplements, and prescription co-pays.

What makes this contribution especially impactful is every dime stays local, directly benefiting cancer patients in our community. At a time when donations to nonprofits have been on the decline in North Idaho, Chicks n’ Chaps continues to defy the trend, stepping up to ensure patients in need receive vital support.

“Chicks n’ Chaps exemplifies what it means to be a community partner,” said Cara Nielsen, President of the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Foundation. “Their commitment to our local cancer patients is unwavering, and their generosity ensures that individuals battling cancer have access to the resources they need during one of the most challenging times of their lives. We are deeply grateful for their ongoing partnership.”

The Cancer Patient Support Fund is a lifeline for many individuals who face not only the physical and emotional toll of cancer but also the financial challenges it can bring. Thanks to Chicks n’ Chaps, patients can focus on their treatment and recovery, knowing that their basic needs are being met. Since 2012, they have donated nearly a quarter of a million dollars to the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Foundation.

“We’re proud to support the incredible work of the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Foundation,” said Tolli Willhite, a representative from Chicks n’ Chaps. “Our mission has always been to uplift and empower our community, and we’re honored to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients right here in North Idaho.”
